Dakuidreketi re-elected to board
The other new board members are Kitione Vuetaki, a lawyer who has now replaced Graham Leung, current Housing Authority CEO Alipate Naiorosui, who has replaced Ioane Naiveli who gave 18 years of service to the FRU, while the other board members include Meli Tora, Waisake Radrodro and Bill Gavoka, all these nominees were from the Nadi Rugby Union.
The new board will appoint a new chairman.
Meanwhile, veteran Paula Cavu has been named a life member of the FRU.
Suva's motion to get Wizard Waisele Serevi back into the FRU as the coaching director of Sevens was not discussed to be decided later in a special meeting as well as three other nominees who used to come from the Rakavi Trust which the Suva Rugby Union called to be scrapped.
The FRU's financial report which included a loss in 2008 was passed at the AGM.
