Former NLTB board member and current Fiji Rugby Union CEO Keni Dakuidrekti has been granted permission by High Court Judge Salesi Temo to travel overseas for a series of commitments from the 10th to the 30th of this month.

Dakuidreket's lawyer Wylie Clark made the application this afternoon requesting that his client be given permission as he had several commitments to attend to this month.

Justice Temo agreed to the application on the condition that when he returns to Fiji, Dakuidreketi is to surrender his passport to the court before or on the 4th of June when the case is expected to be called again in the High court.

FICAC Lawyer Sanjeewa Dissanyake had no objections to the application.

Dakuidreketi is jointly charged with former NLTB General Manager Kalivati Bakani and Alanieta Vakatale with one count of abuse of office for allegedly trying to defraud the NLTB.

The case will be called again on the 4th of June.
