All Blacks fullback Israel Dagg has got full faith in teammate Sam Cane to carry the weight in the toughest task of his career so far.
Cane will wear the number seven jersey for injured captain Richie McCaw for the rest of the Rugby Championship.
Dagg said Cane proved himself in the black jersey during the French internationals in June.
Meanwhile, Liam Messam will be fit for selection for this weekend's test against South Africa at Eden Park.
Fewer than 4000 tickets remain for the top of table match which will kick off at 7.35pm this Saturday while at 10.05pm the Wallabies will host Argentina.
