Israel Dagg is now seemingly the All Blacks first choice fullback after being named to start against France this Saturday in the crunch World Cup game at Eden Park.

Piri Weepu is at halfback and playmaker Daniel Carter has also recovered from his stiff back to take his place in the familiar number 10 jersey.

Cory Jane and Richard Kahui have been named on the wings while Adam Thomson has beaten Victor Vito to number eight.

Richie McCaw returns to captain the side in his 100th test after a minor calf strain forced him to miss the Japan test.

The All Blacks will take on France at 8.30pm this Saturday.
