A DVD shop owner will appear in court this morning after a number of pirated DVD's was confiscated from his store on Saturday.

Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said the police carried out a raid at the store on Saturday, where the discovered a number of pirated DVDs.

Sokomuri added that this is just part of their crack down on pirated DVD sales which will continue around the country.

Investigations are continuing into the matter.

Meanwhile, police are now awaiting the post mortem of the man whose decomposed body was found floating in the Sigatoka river on Sunday.

Sokomuri confirmed that the deceased was identified by his son yesterday after calls made by police to contact them if any of their family members or relatives were missing.

The body was discovered by a villager near Nawamagi village.

Investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the man=s death.
