The DPP's Office has also withdrawn the charges laid against two former senior Police Officers, Berenado Daveta and Rusiate Tuidravu.
Official sources confirmed the decision has been made and the defence lawyers of the two former Police officers have been notified.
However the DPP's Office is unable to disclose the reason why the charges have been withdrawn due to its classification.
Daveta and Tuidravu were earlier charged with conspiracy to commit a felony namely mutiny.
It was alleged that they were planning to remove the former Police Commissioner, Commodore Esala Teleni.
