The Director of Public Prosecutions office will meet today with the Director CID to finalise the Nimilote Verebasaga case.
The Verebasaga file is still with police after recommendations by the DPP's office that the lone solider involved should be charged with Murder.
The DPP made its recommendations a few months ago and instructed police to lay charges against the soldier.
The file was given to police and according to Director CID, SSP Waisea Vakamocea they are still liaising with the military head quarters on when the solider will be released so that charges can be laid.
