DISMAC is now waiting for donor organizations to come forward and fund the setting up of the sirens for a tsunami warning.
Principal Officer Pajiliai Dobui said tsunami is a disaster that can strike anytime after an earthquake and this is why we need specially built sirens to alert people before hand.
Dobui added this will be a costly exercise however there is an urgent need to have tsunami warning systems which could save people's lives.
