The DISMAC Operations Center is now preparing an assessment report for the Ministry of Education and for employers around the country.
Team Leader Aisea Quminakelo confirms that they will advise the Education ministry not to open any schools today but the final decision will be made by the Ministry.
He also confirms that at first light they will issue advisorys for all Employers. He says with many road networks down and flooding expected, people are urged to use their own judgment before trying to make their way to work this morning.
