The National DISMAC has confirmed that Northern Vanualevu, Western and Eastern Vitilevu were worst hit by the Tropical Cyclone Gene and flash floods last week.
Director Joeli Rokovada said intial reports reveal damage to houses infrastructure and farms have been destroyed.
DISMAC is expected to submit a report to the interim cabinet this week.
Rokovada said a meeting with donor agencies is also expected this week and following that affected people will be assisted.
