DISMAC has confirmed that majority of the official evacuation centers in the Northern and Eastern Division has now closed.
Acting Director Pajiliai Dobui said people are still taking shelter with their relatives and friends.
Dobui said by next week they will be able to confirm how many people are really in need of assistance.
