DISMAC is in the process of trying to identify alternative evacuation centers for people who are taking shelter at various schools in the flood affected areas in Nadi and Ba.
Deputy Director Patiliai Dobiu confirmed that they have requested people to move from the schools so that the Military and others can clean up to prepare for school to open on Monday.
Dobui said they are requesting people to bear with them as alternative sites are being prepared.
