Situation reports from DISMAC officials in Nadi indicate that the Waimare flats, Naqoro flats, FSC road in Nadi, and Narara road is still closed to all traffic.

Also closed to all traffic is the Nadi back road.

Rakiraki town is still closed as it is still flooded.

Meanwhile the Kings road is still closed to all traffic whilst the Queens Highway has cleared and is opened to all traffic.

Most of the shops in Nadi's main street are still flooded as heavy rain continues in Nadi.

Nadi police say about 3-4 feet of water are in this shop which is rising. Nadi back road and hospital road is still flooded and closed to all traffic. Damaging gale force winds is currently being experienced by the residents of Nadi.

In Lautoka, some residents of Lovu, Lautoka are taking shelter at a nearby evacuation center and about 52 people from Taipiria Village have taken shelter at the Coronation Church in Lautoka.

Heavy rain and strong winds continue tonight.
