DISMAC is unaware how much it will cost to assist all flood victims who need emergency food rations.
Deputy Director Patiliai Dobui said they have now intensified their relief assistance as they now have to assist over 137,000 people in the Western and Eastern Division with food rations.
Meanwhile, over 1,000 people are still occupying evacuation centers in the Western and Eastern Division.
People are slowly returning home however, 16 centers in the Western Division are still open with 1,023 people still sheltering in them.
In Lautoka, four centers with 194 people, Ba 8 centers still open for 569 people, Nadi 2 centers are occupying 119 people and in Namaka 125 people are sheltering in two centers.
On to the Eastern Division, two evacuation centers in Burebasaqa District School and Nasautoka are still open occupying 88 people.
