The DISMAC office has confirmed that they are facing some problems in distributing food rations to affected flood victims as they are unable to sort out where to prioritize distributing assistance packs.
Principal DISMAC Officer Patiliai Dobui said a number of organisations and donor agencies are working out relief work on the ground and DISMAC has no idea or plan with these people on which areas they will concentrate on distributing rations.
Dobui added some of these organizations are also distributing food rations to certain groups only.
Meanwhile, Dobui is urging members of the public to contact their Divisional Commissioners of District Office if they encounter unfair distribution of food rations in their area.
