Today is D-day for Digicel Fiji 7s injured trio, Nuimaia Cakacaka, Jerry Burotu and Lepani Nabuliwaqa as they will have a session with their team doctor before they undergo any training.
Coach Illesa Tanivula said their injuries will be assessed today as the management team does not want to take any chances.
It is understood that Jerry Burotu had a broken arm, Niumaia Cakacaka had an injured rib while Nabuliwaqa had a boil on his neck.
Meanwhile, Tanivula confirmed that they will be taking part in the Suva International 7s and they are keeping their fingers crossed that the two will be fit for the Tournament.
The New Zealand 7s will be held in February in Wellington with Fiji drawn in Pool B with Australia, Scotland and the Waisale Serevi coached Papua New Guinea side.
