A tropical cyclone warning is now in force for the Lau Group as the Weather Office has confirmed the formation of Tropical Cyclone Lin this morning.
Director Rajendra Prasad said Tropical Cyclone Lin is expected to gradually move away from Fiji however during this process it is expected to intensify.
Prasad stressed that the tropical cyclone warning is for the Lau Group only.
Vanuabalavu, Mavana resident, Anaseini Qoro said some trees have been uprooted and rooftops blown away by strong winds.
