The initial damage assessment reports from the four divisions following Tropical Cyclone Mick is expected to be released tomorrow.
Acting Director DISMAC Pajiliai Dobui said they are still receiving and compiling reports from the various Commissioners Office, after which a detailed report will be put together and released tomorrow.
Meanwhile more than 100 families are still living at evacuation camps in certain parts of the country a week after Tropical Cyclone Mick passed the Fiji group.
Dobui said 13 evacuation centres are still activated and these are mostly in the Rewa delta area.
Meanwhile the Australian Government today donated $AUD100,000 to assist those affected by Cyclone Mick.
Australia's Foreign Affairs Minister Stephen Smith said they are concerned for the welfare of all those affected by Cyclone Mick and will offer appropriate assistance to help the people of Fiji.
Smith said the funding will provide for the immediate distribution and replenishment of relief and sanitation supplies and to help conduct damage assessments, and this will be channelled through UNICEF, the Fiji Red Cross Society and the DISMAC office.
He adds the funding is a further demonstration of Australia's friendship and commitment to the people of Fiji, and shows that they stand ready to provide further assistance if required.
