A 44 year old man who had an accident earlier this week succumbed to his injuries yesterday at the CWM Hospital.

The Assistant Public Relations Officer Corporal Suliano Tevita said the victim was riding a bicycle along the Queens Highway at Namotomoto, Nadi, Tuesday morning when upon reaching a parked vehicle, the vehicle passenger suddenly opened the door resulting in the cyclist flying forward falling on the road.

He received serious injuries to his head and was conveyed to the Nadi Hospital, however, was transferred to CWM where he died yesterday.

Police are awaiting his post mortem results.
