Cuvu College is the Western Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Under 18 champion after defeating favorites Ratu Navula College by 18-13 at Lawaqa Park yesterday.
Cuvu College will now meet Nasinu Secondary School while Ratu Navula will face defending champion Ratu Kadavulevu School in the last Coke Zero Deans quarterfinals.
Cuvu’s tries were scored by Poni Botiniu, Tira Wilagi and man of the match Serupepeli Nakita.
Cuvu was leading 13-10 at half time.
Looking at the quarter finals, Queen Victoria School will take on Suva Grammar School, Marist Brothers High School will play Lelean Memorial School, Cuvu will take on Nasinu while RKS will take on Ratu Navula College.
The Coke Zero Deans quarterfinals will be held next Friday at the ANZ Stadium.
The semifinals will be held on the 6th of next month at Lawaqa Park while the final is scheduled to be held at the ANZ Stadium on the 13th of next month.
