Residents of Cunningham in Suva are frustrated that they continue to face water supply problems for over two years.
Rakesh Sharma resident of Cunningham Stage 4 said the Water Department has failed to inform them what the problem is and by when it will be fixed.
Divisional Water Engineer Central/Eastern Sereicokocoko Yanuyanurua has refuted claims that there have been water disruptions for close to two years.
He added the main problem is the transfer of water from the Waila Treatment Plant to the Wainibuku pumping station which may be the cause of the problem.
He said the increase in population in Cunningham is also a contributing factor to this problem, however, they are trying their best to serve all their consumers.
He hopes water supply will be improved soon.
