The Crusaders will treat this weekend’s clash against the Highlanders as if it is their last game on the planet.
Coach Todd Blackadder will bank on his 12 players who are in the All Blacks training squad to tame the Highlanders which includes Dan Carter, Israel Dagg, Andy Ellis, Zac Guildford, Richie McCaw, Kieran Read, Luke Romano, Sam Whitelock, Wyatt Crockett, and Ben and Owen Franks.
Both the Highlanders and Crusaders need to win this game to stay in contention for the playoffs.
The Crusaders still have three games to play while the Highlanders have two remaining matches.
The Crusaders will host the Highlanders this Friday at 7:35pm.
