The Crusaders will hold a moment of silence before kickoff as a mark of respect for the people who died during Tropical Cyclone Winston.
The Crusaders players will take a bucket collection for the Fiji cyclone relief fund after the Chiefs game.
Crusaders spokesman says they don’t allow bucket collections at games but they felt that the request from the players was so passionate, sincere and the cause so appropriate that it was the right thing to do.
The players will pick up buckets at the end of the match and go around the crowd, signing autographs and taking donations.
The Crusaders' Fijian players, Nemani Nadolo, Jone Macilai, Ben Volavola and Alex Hodgman, are organising a TradeMe auction to raise funds for cyclone relief.
Nadolo, Macilai and Volavola, who are in the Crusaders' 23‑man squad for the Chiefs game, will donate specially embroidered jerseys for the auction.
Meanwhile, Crusaders will take on the Chiefs at 6.35pm today, the Waratahs will meet Reds at 8.40pm and Western Force will take on Rebels at 10.50pm.
This weekend will be somewhat special for us. Benny, Jone and I will be auctioning our jersey's plus a signed crusaders...
