The Sharks have admitted that the Crusaders are the benchmark of Super Rugby following their 44-28 loss this morning.

Sharks' coach John Plumtree said that the Christchurch based outfit is devastating in midfield and if any team makes the mistake of turning over possession, the Crusaders are brutal.

Plumtree said that his side were a bit naive in the first 20 minutes which led to the Crusaders scoring 4 first half tries to lead 34-18 at the break.

Meanwhile, Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder has warned his Super Rugby rivals that his team can get even better after their win in Twickenham this morning.

He said with the caliber of players he has, other teams should be careful.

The Crusaders are on a bye this week.
