Crusaders rugby machine truly rolling again
Inspired by a record equalling four try haul to right wing Sean Maitland and a near perfect goal kicking display from Daniel Carter, the Crusaders handed their old enemies the Brumbies with a 52-10 drubbing at Nelson Park last night to kick round four of the Super 15 off in style.
The bonus point win has temporarily propelled the red and blacks into fourth on the overall points table.
Leading 19-10 at halftime, the match was killed off as a contest when the Crusaders crossed for three tries inside the opening seven minutes of the second half.
In another game last night the Sharks had a close 34-32 win against the Rebels and the Stormers ended the Highlanders unbeaten run with Peter Grant kicking the Stormers to an 18-6 victory this morning.
This evening at 6.35pm the Hurricanes will host the Chiefs.
