Crusaders assistant coach, Tabai Matson said the Crusaders will not again foolishly dig themselves into a hole in Hamilton by relying solely on brute force.

The Crusaders were beaten by the Chiefs 20-17 in last year’s Super rugby semifinals in Hamilton.

Matson said muscle is not enough and they have to be able to do all things well.

He added that if they just try to go in there trying to swing a sledgehammer, it does not always work against the Chiefs.

The Crusaders and the Chiefs match kicks off at 7.35pm this Friday.

The Rebels will play the Waratahs at 9.40pm.
