The Crusaders are in Brisbane with the goal of becoming the first team to win a major world sports title without playing a game at home.
They boast a record of the only team to win an away final in Australia in 2000 when the Crusaders beat the Brumbies who had current Reds coach Ewen McKenzie as forwards coach.
Also, Super rugby history has proven that the Crusaders are the only side that has won the final away from their home ground on 3 occasions in 1998, 1999 and 2000.
ABC Rugby commentator, Quinten Hull said as far as the 2011 Crusaders season is concerned, traveling and playing away from home is proving no big deal.
The Super 15 rugby final between the Reds and the Crusaders will kick off at 9.40pm this Saturday.
