All Blacks 7s coach Gordon Tietjens has named Crusaders backline player Adam Whitelock in his 12 member squad for the Scotland and London 7s.

Whitelock is the only new player in the squad which sees other players like captain DJ Forbes, Scott Curry, Tim Mikkelson, Joe Webber, Gillies Kaka and Ben Lam included in the team.

New Zealand currently lead the Series by seven points over South Africa, a side they face in Pool A, but will again be without the services of Tomasi Cama.

The Scotland 7s kicks off this Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji 7s team will play Argentina at 9:30pm this Saturday in their first pool match before taking on Kenya at 12:36am and Wales at 3:47am on Sunday.
