A new champion is likely to be crowned in this year's Colonial Cup after defending champion Stallions lost last night to the Crusaders 29-6 at Prince Charles Park.

The Crusaders dominated the game scoring 3 tries while the Stallions struggled to keep up with the fast paced game.

Under the leadership of Iliesa Tanivula the Crusaders have booked a place in the semi-final while the hope of the Stallions now depends on whether the Rooster can cause an upset win against the Highlanders.

The win also mean three spot in the Colonial Cup semi-final have been confirmed with the Highlanders, Sharks and the Crusaders booking their places.

Tomorrow at the Post Fiji Stadium the Highlanders host the Sharks at 3pm and also at Garvey Park the Roosters takes on the Knights.
