First-five Dan Carter has been withdrawn from the All Blacks team to face Argentina, with Beauden Barrett joining the team in Wellington.
Carter is believed to have a calf injury, but All Blacks management are yet to release details of the injury.
Barrett, who is likely to come onto the bench, with Aaron Cruden starting in the number 10 jersey, will miss Taranaki’s Ranfurly Shield defence against Hawke’s Bay tomorrow night.
The All Blacks will host the Pumas at 7:35pm while Australia will meet South Africa at 10:35pm Saturday.
