With Dan Carter labelled as damaged goods for another week, it will again fall to Aaron Cruden to put the polish on the All Blacks erratic attack.

Coach Steve Hansen has described Cruden as an “average performer” as far as his nine and ten are concerned.

Cruden will face a mental test in Dunedin this week where he must quickly forget the game against Argentina and refocus on the Springboks.

The All Blacks and Springboks game kicks off at 7:35pm Saturday while Australia will host Argentina at 10:05pm.
