All Black and Chiefs playmaker Aaron Cruden believes that he has grown as a player under assistant coach Wayne Smith.

Cruden said that former All Blacks assistant Smith has made a big difference to the way he has developed this season.

The backup first five eight for the All Blacks is currently in a national camp in Wellington preparing for the upcoming test matches with the All Black.

Cruden is expected to feature for the Chiefs again this weekend when they meet the Blues at 7:35pm this Saturday.
