During Lent, the time before Easter, of self sacrifice, fasting and prayer, Catholics worldwide go on cross walks whereby they remember Jesus life before his death on a cross.
Vicar General of the Catholic Church in Fiji and Lami Parish Priest, Father Beni Kaloudau said the crosswalks have already started around Fiji and will continue until the end of Lent.
Parishners of St Joseph the Worker Parish in Tamavua will this evening at 6 take the main cross to the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Suva.
