Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama said if he would have attended the Special Forum leaders meeting in Papua New Guinea tomorrow, he would have once again told the Forum Leaders what he had told the Ministerial Contact Working Group in December last year.

During a Military parade today at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Bainimarama told soldiers that he had already stressed to the working group, electoral reform will be made first and only then would elections be held.

He said the criticism against him from New Zealand and Australia for not attending the Forum Special Meeting would not deter him.

Bainimarama also added he has already given his reasons for not attending the meeting and that was because of the rehabilitation work carried out for those people affected by the flood.
