Crusaders' coach Todd Blackadder said it was "really pleasing" that his side could close out a victory against the Stormers despite the injuries they suffered before and during the match.

Two tries from Prop Wyatt Crocket helped the Crusaders to a 20-14 victory over the Stormers at Newlands in Cape Town this morning.

Blackadder said his side's character and temperament was outstanding and that the win was critical because it's tough winning on the road.

Blackadder said the season was approaching the play offs and wins at this stage will ease the pressure on his side.

Meanwhile, Crusaders' stand in captain Kieran Read said the game was played in a "Test match" atmosphere and his team drew great inspiration from the wonderful crowd support.
