Police have noticed a decrease in crime rate by 20% in the past three weeks.
Police PRO Atunaisa Sokomuri said this is due to their Operation Muanimacawa in different districts around the country.
Sokomuri said there has been a reduction in violent crimes like robbery with violence, larceny and stealing vehicles.
He said police roadblocks and those manning them have assisted investigators arrest 3 men involved in a $53,000 robbery near USP and a $20,000 robbery in Nadi.
And as the operation continues, police are calling on people to report matters related to crime to help the community.
