14 Under 17 players have been named to be part of Cricket Fiji's high performance squad and will undergo 15 weeks of training.
The squad will prepare for the International events scheduled for next year and 2015.
Cricket Fiji High Performance Manager Joe Rika said they have a program in place to allow the boys to focus more on perfecting the basics of the game.
