Craig Clarke has passed a fitness test and will lead the Chiefs side into tomorrow night's Super Rugby final against the Sharks.

The Chiefs players were exited after hearing the captain's name being called out to lead the team.

The two metre lock who injured his right knee during last Friday's semifinal win over the Crusaders, is a calming influence on the team and the players all know what happened when he wasn't there four weeks ago against the Crusaders.

Neither the Chiefs nor the Sharks have won a Super Rugby title and both have felt the pain of losing a Super Rugby final.

The Chiefs lost to the Bulls in 2009 and the Sharks lost to the Bulls 19-20 in 2007 and 36-6 to the Brumbies in 2001.

The Chiefs will host the Sharks at 7:35pm tomorrow.
