Two more Asian females are in custody after police and the Immigration Department caught up with them for allegedly staying in the country illegally.

Director Immigration Major Nemani Vuniwaqa said the two females were arrested near Matua taxis in Nabua last night following a tipoff yesterday.

He confirmed both were on visitor’s visas which had expired in 2005 and 2008.

Vuniwaqa added they have questioned the family who was allegedly harbouring the two Asian women.

The two may be deported on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Immigration Department is still finalizing the tickets for the nine Asian nationals who were arrested last weekend during raids in Suva.
