Covenant Brothers to face Police in 7s finals

Covenant brothers will play Police in the final of the Waikoula Vancouver 7s in Tavua after beating Botaira 14-12 in the semifinal.

Former national 7s rep Osea Kolinisau was instrumental in Covenant brothers win which will see them play in their second successive Pasifika 7s series after they won the first tournament in Savusavu two weeks ago.

In the second semifinal, former national playmaker Peni Gaunimeke scored a try and helped Police beat Pio Tuwai’s Tokatoka resort Westfield Barbarians 10-5.

The final will be played later this afternoon. 

The cup final winner will walk away with $10,000.
