Natural Waters of Viti Limited has been allowed to export Fiji Water until the 31st of this month while the legal battle continues between the company and the Fiji Islands Revenue and Customs Authority.

While making the ruling on the injunction by the Fiji Water, High Court Judge Justice Jocyln Scutt said the case will be recalled at end of this month in chambers where this issue will be raised again.

Both counsels are currently clarifying some legal arguments in court.

Natural Waters is expected to issue a statement this afternoon and FIRCA CEO Jitoko Tikolevu is expected to comment later.

Natural Waters filed an injunction seeking court orders, which include that FIRCA gives the all clear, for its containers of Fiji Water sitting at the Lautoka Wharf, to be exported.

The legal action was initiated against FIRCA after claiming that the Authority was blocking its exports of Fiji Water, which has been denied by FIRCA and the Interim Finance Minister who say that Natural Waters has failed to make correct declarations on its exports.
