A post mortem conducted on the two partly decomposed bodies that were found in an apartment in Valelevu reveals that the two died of multiple stab wounds to the chest, and the police are treating the case as murder.
Assistant Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Suliano Tevita said the post mortem reveals that 38 year old Ashok Kumar and 34 year old Mohini Lata died because of stab wounds and excessive blood loss.
The couple who were in a de-facto relationship and were running a Kura soap business, were reported missing on 19th December last year.
The families thought that the two had gone overseas in relation to some business matters.
Their bodies were found in the bathroom in a pool of dried blood after neighbours complained of foul smell.
