Police are still interrogating a couple in relation to the alleged murder of 58 year old woman in Brewster street in Toorak early yesterday morning.
Deputy Director Police Operations, SP Erami Raibe said they are still questioning the two as police gather more information.
According to Raibe it’s too early to reveal anything yet.
The post mortem of the body of the woman revealed that she was strangled.
The deceased was living in a nearby settlement with her son and daughter-in-law.
Her body was discovered in a cassava patch at about 2 o'clock yesterday morning by a security officer who was guarding a nearby house.
