Police have charged a couple from Nausori for assaulting and stabbing each other on Saturday night.
Divisional Crime Officer Eastern ASP Ramesh Chand confirmed that the man and woman were at a drinking party at the Lakena Irrigation when they started arguing.
It is alleged that the woman first stabbed her boyfriend with a knife. The boyfriend left the party soon after and later returned and allegedly assaulted the girlfriend.
Both were arrested after a complaint was lodged with Police.
