Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama said the coup culture in Fiji is far from over and the interim administration is expected to address the root cause of conflict and dissention through the mandate given by the President, Ratu Josefa Iloilo, and the proposed National council for building a better Fiji.

Bainimarama said the international community does not understand the political problem in Fiji, and are only quick to say that such matters be best left to an elected government.
