As some the draft Charter consultations gain momentum, the interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama had stressed that it is not the job of the provincial councils in the country to say that they reject the draft People's Charter.
With some provincial councils maintaining that they do not support the Charter process, Bainimarama said the councils should remember that they are an arm of government.
Meanwhile, the Cakaudrove Provincial Council said their decision on the Draft People's Charter has already been made.
These are the sentiments of Chairman Emitai Boladuadua responding to the Interim Prime Minister.
The Council in May this year had decided not to support the draft People's Charter process.
However, the Tailevu Provincial Council Chairman and NCBBF member, Ratu Josefa Serulagilagi said he supports the comments by Bainimarama.
Bainimarama will be at Churchill Park from this hour to speak to the people of Lautoka about the draft Charter.
