Council members to be finalized today
With the council sitting in two days time, the Secretariat of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji has confirmed to Village news that the list of members will be finalized this afternoon by the Co chairpersons.
The Secretariat also confirms that not all members have been confirmed as yet, with a handful given the all clear by the President Ratu Josefa Iloilo to sit on the council.
They said the agenda of the Council's first meeting on Wednesday will also be discussed this afternoon where Commodore Bainimarama and Archbishop Mataca are expected to decide whether the first meeting will be open to members of the public.
The Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office Parmesh Chand confirmed earlier today that the names of the members of the National Council for Building a Better FIji will not be made public until the Council sits at the Trade Winds Convention center in Lami on Wednesday.
