Members of the Rewa Provincial Council will be discussing ways of reviving Rewa Day celebrations in the hope of raising money for their scholarship program which has so far helped more than 1,000 students.
Vice Chairman of the Rewa Provincial Council Pita Tagicakiverata said this will be one of the main issues that will be discussed at the two day meeting which starts this morning, as education of their children has always been one of the main issues on the meeting agenda.
Tagicakiverata added that to date more than 1,000 students have been assisted and they are hoping to help more this year.
The two day Rewa Provincial Council Meeting will be held in Suvavou this morning at 9am, and will be officially opened by the Marama Roko Tui Dreketi Ro Teimumu Kepa.
