The Nasinu Town council is hoping that the current Housing Authority project will accommodate more than 30,000 families living in squatter settlements in the Nasinu town boundaries.
Town administrator Meli Bogileka said it is a concern to the council and they're hoping that the Housing Authority will give squatter families the first preference in opting to buy the houses when the project is completed.
