The continued increase in the cost of living should not be used as an excuse in the failure to deliver services.
These are the words of interim Defense and Immigration Minister Ratu Epeli Ganilau when addressing civil servants in Lakeba last Thursday.
Ratu Epeli said the increasing cost of living should not affect the delivery of public service by civil servants.
He added the problems people face as well as the continued increase in the cost of living are not excuses to justify the failure in the delivery of Government services to the people.
More than 40 officials from various Departments and Ministries are accompanying the Interim Minister on a six day visit to Lakeba and Vanuabalavu.
